SnipAlert uses essential browser cookies and browser storage needed for secure sessions, forms, navigation, and the installed PWA experience. We do not describe optional advertising cookies because the current application does not use an advertising-cookie system.
1. Session and security cookies
Django session and CSRF cookies support sign-in, authenticated actions, form protection, OTP flows, and secure navigation. These cookies are necessary for features such as login, signup, account deletion confirmation, booking, contact forms, wallet actions, and salon management.
2. PWA and notification data
The installed PWA may use a service worker to support the app shell and browser notifications. Notification permission and subscription data are controlled by your browser or device. You can revoke notification permission or remove stored site data in browser settings.
3. Local storage and third-party requests
The PWA service worker and browser storage may cache app resources or retain notification-related information. Google reCAPTCHA, Google Maps links, payment providers, email delivery, media storage, location lookup, and web-push delivery may use their own cookies or technical storage when their features are used. Their handling is governed by their respective policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out or prevent login, bookings, forms, notifications, or other parts of SnipAlert from working correctly.
